Hello! I’m Natasha.
I’m a parent and a WORRIER. You too?
I spend half my life worrying. The other half’s spent mothering. And mostly involves reading books with my son, which makes us both HAPPY.
Sadly, this leaves no time for housework, which I worry about, but not enough to pick up a mop. Although, I did read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up recently.
I live with my husband George, our eight-year-old son Rowan, and two cats, Leo and Oscar (a fellow worrier), plus anything they drag in that we can’t catch.
After more than 2,500 days of reading aloud to Rowan, I’m convinced the solutions to many parenting problems can be found between the covers of great picture books.
Over the last seven years, we’ve found the answers to all sorts of questions:
- How to Discuss Depression with your Little Ones
- How to Raise Grateful Kids in an Ungrateful World
- How to Stop Your Little Ones Lying to You, Forever
I also promote my two main passions – children’s literature and children’s literacy. The first keeps me up late reading. The second keeps me awake worrying.
What keeps YOU awake? I’d love to hear your picture book recommendations. And perhaps I can find you the perfect one to help your family sleep better at night.
Please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Right, it’s time to mop those floors … But wait, The Life-changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck won’t read itself, will it?
